David Pratt

David is the Managing Director and founded Redcap Associates following a career spanning 30 years in procurement and consultancy where he gained extensive experience creating environments to transform procurement’s performance.

Working predominantly in Europe he now leads transformation projects for clients in both the public and private sectors driving cultural change across organisations often to raise the profile of purchasing through organisational, process and skills enhancement.

David Birch

David enjoyed a challenging career at the leading edge of procurement in the automotive sector that included board appointments at Jaguar Cars Limited and Nissan (Europe) and Consultancy Director at Purcon before becoming a member of the core team at Redcap.

David brings significant experience to clients in both the Public and Private sectors when developing procurement strategies in multi-site organisations and when changing the culture and performance of procurement.

James Johnston

James is an experienced procurement programme manager in both the private and public sector. He has held many senior roles in procurement many of which have been collaborative projects with numerous stakeholders. He was the instigator, when at the WMCoE, of the first online regional supplier database which provided data for councils to identify, compare and aggregate their regional suppliers spend. This also showed geographically where the suppliers operated from, thereby ensuring an equitable opportunity for the regions local businesses and sub-contractors

Collin Pratt

Following a career in the publishing industry Collin was responsible for IT systems development and global data integration.

Collin brings a wealth of technical knowledge for the development of procurement and e-commerce systems from specification development to data exchange and integration. His initial assignment with Redcap was to design and programme a cost assessment tool to enable organisations to effectively cost their procurement process and identify opportunities for benefits realisation from process transformation.

Alan Cartmell

Alan joined Redcap following a corporate career as a Chartered Management Accountant, during which he specialised in the development of downstream procurement process efficiency.

Alan's key skills are in the development of effective back office operations and the integration of finance and procurement process as a cohesive unit. His experience was gained in managing one of the largest procurement card operations in the food sector. He brings valuable experience to organisations planning card implementation or Card Providers by offering a practical insight into procurement card operations.

Anne Smith

Following a career in university Scientific Research in both England and the United States, Anne qualified as an NLP Master Practitioner and Coach. She is a professional member of the International Coach Federation and coaches both individuals and teams.

Anne's work with Blue Chip clients focuses on enhancing interpersonal skills and personal development during the transformational change process. Working with the CIPS branch network Anne has led inspirational NLP programmes for the procurement community.

David Byers

As a senior business professional David’s career developed in the technical aspects of the retail (Mothercare and Debenhams) and commercial sectors. From his experience of dealing with people as the key asset of business organisations, David now focuses on developing interpersonal skill sets for commercial teams.

David is a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Master Practitioner and Life Coach. His skills have enabled clients to improve their assertiveness, negotiation and team skills through development, person-to-person coaching and mentoring for business excellence and personal life growth.

Geoffrey Brees

Geoffrey has over 40 year’s transferable experience in strategic and operational procurement. He has worked at every level within procurement up to and including Director in a major public sector organisation. He understands not only the theory but also the practical application of procurement techniques.

Geoffrey has had great success with transformation activities such as setting up and/or restructuring procurement departments, conducting health checks, leading negotiations, and drafting contractual terms and conditions.
